  • Cecilio Ebony Fitted Violin in Black Color Reviews By Customers
  • actually I’d rate it 4.5, love the fact I got 2 bows, but sadly(only tried one so far) the rosin didn’t stay on well, but the violin is well worth the price. The case is nice, the violin is a bit small but it works very well with my petite frame. the wood, nice and sturdy but pretty light. the extra G cord was a surprise.

Great violin for the price – E. Champney –
I bought this violin about a year and a half ago and it is nicer than I expected. My only complaint is that the pegs and bridge are rather cheap. I would suggest getting the violin looked at a music store soon after purchase.

  • After thorough research, Pearl discovered that the inner ply of a drum shell has the greatest effect on the tonal quality of the drum. Therefore, putting Birch on the inner ply of these drums gives them a naturally “EQ’d,” punchy tone with enhanced projection and sustain. 6 plies in the rack tom shells and 8 plies in the floor tom and bass drum shells provide an amazingly balanced sound, unprecedented for this category.

  • Cecilio CVN-600 Full Size Hand Oil Varnished Flamed with 1 Piece Back Professional Violin Reviews By Customers
  • The pics and description did this violin justice. The price, delivery and customer service was excellent.

awful – Solomon Kim – USA
I bought this violin about 6 months ago from internet vendor. This is the worst violin I have ever tried. Nothing is true about this violin’s description. First, wood smelled like they were just cut fresh, not aged at all. Varnish on wood is terrible for any stringed instrument. It has the worst furniture varnish consist of thick uneven coat of poorly applied polyurethane. Finger board is painted black and it is not even straight. Chin rest and peg are made out of plastic, not ebony. There were no ebony parts. They are either painted black or plastic. The bridge is not even maple. It is cut poorly and won’t fit correctly. Pegs will slip and snap. Fine tuners will wobble too much. Then strings will break. If you want cheap violin, buy Suzuki or Klaus Mueller. At least they work like violin and sound like violin

  • Casio CDP 100 Digital Piano Reviews By Customers
  • I bought this for my twin nieces for them to start piano lessons on. I figure it will be fine for them for 3 or 4 years. If they truly want to continue playing, it will be time to switch to a real acoustic grand. Until then it is perfectly suitable for a beginner or someone who is not trying to play any difficult/advanced classical pieces. Wonderful for those who don’t want to annoy the neighbors. Action is good, sounds are too. My only criticism is the pedal. There’s only one and it is more of a foot switch than a pedal. No biggie since you can buy a decent replacement that looks and feels like a piano pedal for about . Ideally a piano should have 3 pedals (Google “sostenuto” and you’ll see why) But the fact is most folks only use the sustain pedal anyway so I’m really picking nits here. More expensive digital pianos have 3 pedals but they also have lots of features/sounds you don’t need and are priced close to three times what this baby costs. If you REALLY need 3 pedals, you probably should be playing acoustic anyway.

Bottom Line? The best bang for the buck out there. Replace the cheapie pedal and buy a cover for it and you’ll have something that compares favorably with digital pianos that cost two to three times as much.

Beware Casio Warranty – K. Brown – Boston, MA
I purchased this piano last December. After two months the sustain pedal stopped working. Casio tech support told me that I had to pay out of pocket to ship the keyboard to California (I live on the East Coast) for repair. The repair “may” be covered by warranty but the shipping I have to pay out of pocket. I ended up repairing the keyboard locally due to cost of shipping. The customer service folks were completely unhelpful and unsupportive of their faulty product. I will never buy Casio again.Casio CDP 100 Digital Piano

Great digital piano. WHY would you pay this much for it though!? – Hockeydad – California
Great piano for the price – but not here. Why would anyone pay 0 (or OMG 9 used) plus shipping for a used Casio CDP 100 digital piano without a stand, when you can buy it new at a number of great guitar/music web sites for 9 including free shipping and no tax (depending on your state). Very odd. By the way, you can get a new CDP 100 INCLUDING CASIO’S STAND for 9 new (again, no shipping or tax). I purchased for my 14 year old son who just took up piano – he was frustrated by the small, cheap electronic piano he was using previously and likes this one alot!

I thought Amazon sellers were pretty savvy and understand good pricing but you never can tell!
